I stumbled across a great little play spot while traveling through San Francisco!
The Kids’ Spot next to gate 90 in terminal 3 is sponsored by a local museum and features weather related play- check it out!
A big ball of weather..
Low pressure graphics on the floor (and high pressure, too, not pictured)
Fun play with clouds..
And a stationary front slide.
Have your kids played at this fun spot? I didn’t have mine with me this trip, but they sure would have enjoyed it!
Wow! We were just in SF this past Christmas and didn’t see that! That would have saved me the torture of trying to go see the warf (we found out the hard way that was impossible with 4 kids!) Thanks for sharing! I’ll remember that for next year! Stopped by from HHM blog hop! Come visit at

We took the kids to SF last fall and also missed the play area. Navigated to downtown via BART, took a wrong turn and wound up DOWNTOWN, then RAN back to pier whatever it was for the Alcatraz tour. Google said 2.1 miles. With two parents, a stroller, and one piggyback. DH found the rickshaw bikes for the last 1/2 mile. Whew!
SF is great to visit, but it definitely needs planning with kids! And good navigation. If you were in SF that day, we were the red-faced sweaty adults giggling like hyenas on the ferry to Alcatraz!
Great blog, I went there and followed ya!
That Orb of Weather looks awesome!! What a fun place!
